“I recently applied this paver sealer with color shot to my driveway, and the results exceeded my expectations. The once dull and faded brick pavers now boast a vibrant sheen that enhances their natural colors, making the entire space look revitalized. Not only did the sealer provide a protective barrier against stains and weathering, but it also repelled water, preventing any unsightly pooling. The application was straightforward, and the drying time was quick. Overall, the paver sealer has transformed my driveway area into a stunning focal point, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!”

“The dull color on my pavers now looks vibrant and glossy with a wet sheen. The wet-look color is truly amazing.
I was so disappointed when the pavers arrived. They looked nothing like what I saw on display at the building supply place where I bought them. After I used the Strongseal Wetlook, the pavers came to life, and the sand joints bonded, forming a very strong seal on the joints. I highly recommend Strongseal. Applying the sealer as recommended works well. After spraying the second coat, I used the roller to flatten out the sealer evenly. This gave me the best results.”
“I researched the heck out of sealer types, brands, and doing-it-yourself. I have new concrete pavers and live in Florida, so contending with the heat, humidity, UV rays, and hot tires were all critical considerations. As was the longevity of the sealer and being ability to reseal without stripping. And the ability to apply it with minimal risk of screwing up. And finally, bringing out the color of the pavers. I determined the optimal solution was water-based polyurethane, and specifically StrongSeal Wetlook. There was another polyurethane brand from another company here in Florida with equivalent pricing, but they had virtually no reviews and so I didn't trust the company or product. Whereas CoverTec had an extensive website and more reviews. Bottom line, the application process was flawless with a 2-gallon pump sprayer, and clean up was easy. I applied two coats. It did bring out the color, but not quite as much as I had hoped. I expected it to look like the pavers do when they are wet ("Wetlook") but they do not. I believe a 3rd coat would have helped. As for securing the sand around the edges and between the pavers, it did a great job. Now it can downpour on them and I can hose off or blow off the driveway and patio and the sand stays. And no weeds are going to grow out between them. And overall, the paver color and composition is protected from the elements and so will not fade or decompose. So, all in all, I made the right choice and am happy with the outcome. Highly recommend.”
“Sealing was the final step in our “did it ourselves “ paver brick patio project. We wanted the colors brought out when wet and did research on various wet look sealers. We chose this water based urethane product for the durability and the look. We are very happy with the product, the application, the instructions, and the email support we received when we had a question.”
Hello David,
Thank you for the 5-star review and for sharing the pictures— excellent job with cleaning up the pavers. The StrongSeal Wetlook sealer brings out the browns nicely. We appreciate the feedback.
“Our pavers look beautiful and repel the water! Make sure you only mix what you can use in your sprayer then rinse your sprayer out before making a new batch. Otherwise solid particles form… we learned this the hard way”
“Purchased the sample of gloss wet look and was very happy with the result. I had 12 year old red and gray pavers that were faded. After cleaning and resanding, I bought and applied the 2 gallons and it turned out great.”
