“Did not dry evenly. Followed instructions and waited the exact times. Walked on it 1 time and it already scratched. Idk if I got a bad batch or what but I had high hopes for this brand after paying so much.”
I'm sorry to learn that the product did not dry evenly. Something must be off! VinylGuard should not scratch just by walking on it. To resolve this matter, please reach out to our technical support team. They will assist you in troubleshooting the problem and finding a suitable solution. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
“I researched for several weeks to find the product that would:
1. adhere to the laminate floor I have with and without the product already on it (Pez wet look)
2. Not have bubbles or messy places of any type.
3. not be messed up if dog pee or just water was left to dry on it
4. Be able to be cleaned when I noticced that the stuff had dried on it without leaving a noticable spot.
Your product did all of this pretty well. However, the winner was from a compnay called S&S. It was slightly better and also slightly cheaper.”
“I love this sealer. I have set out on a search because I needed to seal vinyl tiles, seal them to reduce or eliminate damage from many foster rescue dogs staying with me until they find a home, many if not most are not potty trained. I did try the sealer from Home Depot but that was not even close to what I needed, what I found at the local hardware stores is a very thin watery seal that does not seal or last at all. I will say that VinylGuard is the best I have come across so far, when the product is done drying and setting, you can feel a nice thick coat over the tiles. The smell is not horrible and toxic smelling, cleans up with water if the time has not elapsed and the liquid has started setting. I believe VinylGuard was very much worth the cost, I will only suggest VinylGuard to everyone.”
“I used the vinyl guard for my new vinyl sheet flooring. I find that with the sealer on, there is less chance of staining the vinyl, particularly with mustard, which is the worst offender. I used the “gloss” proportions of 1 quart of part A to 8 ounces of part B plus the reducer. I cannot comment on the long-term results, since once I just applied it. So far so good.”
Thanks for the 5-star review. Staining from Mustard is challenging for any sealer. At least with VinylGuard you have a fighting chance to get it cleaned up before it stains your vinyl floor.
