“I purchased this as part of a package deal - effectively making it half price. Most consumer organisations suggest that this style of extended warranty is not a good investment. Time will tell for me of course - so hard to really know. My last F&P machine lasted 7 years, so no extended warranty was needed. Word around the traps is that machines have a working life of about 5 years before they don't meet specification - or more commonly get noisier.
Probably wouldn't have taken the extension if I had my time over.”
