the front binding is a little wiggly on the interface, the back is good and firm. I feel that the interface is too universal and could get a much better binding to board feel with costum interface plates ground for different ride styles and stances. Much like the cams on compound bows are ground for different draw lengths and weights

I've been very happy.

I seem to be the only person in town rocking the new bindings and everyone wants a look. New system is a lot more user friendly than the original split30- board goes together smoothly every time. Love the walk mode adjustment, weight (or lack thereof:)), and easy to use heel risers. On the other hand, I seemed to pop out of the heel lock pretty easily (only tried it once and popped out before the hill actually started- reluctant to put any faith in it now). Hope this helps...

Pros: great engineering and construction, easy to install, smooth in tour mode and solid and confidence inspiring in ride mode. Coms: snow buildup under the bindings make step in feature in ride mode difficult to impossible. About half the time I just take the bindings off my boots to clear the snow and strap in after they're mounted. The heel lockdowns can't be unlocked with gloves on. I added a loop of half inch webbing to each one, which solved the problem. All in all worth the money, but your ski friends will still be waiting for you. Karakoram advertises a 2 minute changeover time, but getting there will take a lot of practice.
