This is the only place to go for AT gear! Not only did these guys sell my old skis, they directed me to gear that perfectly fits my needs. The boot suggestion and custom fit were incredible. More than not, I use my new set up for all my skiing enjoyment. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, perfect!

Thanks to Cripple Creek Backcountry and Doug and Randy more specifically. After weighing the merits of a handful of skis and answering a ton of my questions, I'm happy to report this is the exact ski I was looking for. I've had a chance to do a long tour in RMNP, backcountry days on both Berthoud and Cameron Pass, and two back-to-back powder days in-bounds at Steamboat. This ski really can do it all. I was looking for something to complement a pair of DPS Wailer 112s for ski mountaineering objectives and long traverses and the Kastle TX 87 is just that. I can't believe how well it holds an edge and skis variable snow despite being super light. I'm super impressed with the Kastle skins too. Much lighter than my G3 Alpinists with an awesome tip connection. It's so nice not having to trim your own skins. I mounted Dynafit Speed Radicals on this setup. Did I mention they mounted and shipped the skis same day (and for free) to Denver? You guys rock. Thanks again. You have a repeat customer.

Only skied inbounds so far, nursing a back injury. But these skis are great in all conditions, super light and great climber. The Kastle skins are fantastic so far, took some getting used to the storage method, but Im okay with it now, easy on and off. I really don't feel I'm giving up much at all versus my frontside skis. Turns great in anything, holds an edge on eastern hardpack. Probably not a ski for the speed demon, but it is a touring ski after all.

Not an extensive review BUT first run on some untracked corduroy (waiting for the El Nino to do it's thing here in SoCal ) after dawn patrol skin up the local hill....Felt like a full on frontside ripper , used to ski Kastle alpine skis back in their heyday (early eighties ) and these have got the DNA . Did I mention how light on the up ???? looking forward to some natural snow.Great job on the mount initial de-tune/base prep Guys , coming back to you on future pairs.
