The Tesla system is just brilliant, and with the extruded baseplate any adjustment can be made on the fly even when wearing gloves. System doesn’t seem prone to clogging - or at least sturdy enough for a beating if ice is building up. Straps and ratchets are standard Burton stuff, works well, excellent ratchets, but I’ll recommend always having a spare toe strap in the pocket, they tend to tear when it’s really cold (I live in Greenland…). I was in a hurry to get bindings and didn’t have time to wait for the new Arc, and even though I don’t regret my impatience, I’d definitely say that the improvements (forward lean adjustment on the highback and the risers) are worth the extra cash. The sizing is a bit odd. I’m a US size 10.5, and a large is by no means too big (the toe strap is a bit long for my Burton boots, fits excellent on my DCs).
