“As a newbie bassoonist I'm gradually working my way up reeds in terms of price and, hopefully, performance. Having been through my six-student-reeds deal I thought I'd try a couple of these and I was not disappointed. Although they only arrived a few days before two gigs I was able to get them up to scratch in good time and they played reliably. I'm not yet in a position to compare them with even more prestigious (& expensive!) reeds but I'm glad I gave them a chance.”
“There has been only one other bassoon reed that I ordered that played well and your 4 bassoon reeds that I ordered played wonderfully. There was no adjusting and all the notes popped out with ease. A clarinet player that sits next to me commented that the tone of the reed sounded really good (she also has played the bassoon).
