The material is nice and soft, the legs stay down during movement, and the boxer briefs look fantastic on me. However, the pouch is just way too small - about a third of the size of competitor Shinesty. It's about 1" of material on the bottom to cradle the sack, so everything just ends up coming out almost immediately. I'm surprised after reading the many reviews on this matter that there haven't been adjustments made. Additionally, the horizontal fly on top, while a nice concept, is a tad too small to easily pull it out.

I like the 6" a lot better than the 3" as the legs on the 3" seem to ride up a bit. Material is super comfy. Love the fly design, easy access reaching in from the top, easy to find with the X design, and the ability for the material to "stop the last drop" and prevent embarrassing moments is great.

I'm awkward. I'm 70 going on 89. No six pack, just a one pack bulging hernia. I've also lost an inch or two off my waist size, where-ever it is. I've been buying the usual high street packs of underwear, the ones designed by some sadist having a laugh. So having a best guess at my waist size, I opted for a pack of three L 3" Ikon trunks which arrived this morning. Carefully unpacked one pair and did the stretch test. Impressive. Optimistically I tried a pair on. Still wearing them. Very comfortable and supportive. I'll be trying these three out over the next few days before ordering half dozen more and having a ceremonial bonfire of the old ones, some being retained for cleaning cloths etc. One little issue, though. I estimate 39" is probably about my waist size. On the blurb, 'L' is 35 to 39". Not wanting them for ankle warmers, I went for L rather than XL. It feels about right. But on the box and the blurb elsewhere, for L it says 35 to 38". Had I gone for the XL I'd be having issues I think.

Made from a light, comfortable material they fit snugly and give support where needed due to the clever design.
