“Last year's long slip dress, with a slit each side to just above the knee, is nearly perfect hot weather nightwear for me; this year's, with just a left side slit that goes all the way up to my hip joint (why?) is a nightmare.
If I lie on my right side the fabric falls away each side of my legs leaving much of my lower body uncovered. If I turn over - especially likely in hot weather - the fabric doesn't move with me and the upper section ends up in a tight spiral round my torso, with even more of my body left uncovered. If I wanted something that only covered me down to the waist a T shirt would have been cheaper and more comfortable.
This dress nearly became the first thing I sent back as not fit for purpose - providing comfortable sleep. Instead I hacked it by sewing down the left seam to just above the knee and opening up the right side to match. It now works. Please rethink.”

“Love the lightness of the fabric. I’m old, 70, so it’s a little bare at the top but worth it for the comfort. We live in Florida so it’s steamy in the summer. These are so much better than what I was wearing.”
