“This turned out very nice. I had cut some sticks and wrapped rags around them to place where the videos showed. After dry fitting it, I saw tha I needed to use another where it came down by the glove box. My advice would be to use a helper when putting it in place. I did it by myself, and when I was putting it in, I had a glob of silicone come out around my headlight sensor. Got it cleaned up good.
I didn't want to leave my window down, as the truck sits outside. So instead of using the foam pads at the door like they show, I cut 2 pieces of foam pipe insulation about 5" long, and taped them on the door skin. That put lots of pressure on that area and made it sit nice. Forgot to mention, get 2 tubes of silicone if you have a Silverado with the 2 glove boxes.”
