Thank you do much for taking time to leave a review. The Quick-Wire Backplate only accepts 14 gauge wire, not 12 gauge. For 12 gauge, you will need the Universal Backplate. Our Support Team is reached out to you to see if you would like to setup an exchange!

“It is a workable solution for not having a backplate for the 3 way/4 way Deako switches. But a 1-gang empty backplate would be more convenient.”
