“this product is terrible. The only reason I have to order from this company is that I have one customer that regrettably has deako devices throughout his home. It's obnoxious that deako isnt sold at any large local retailers and that I have to order from your website to get what I need. As for the product itself, just the fact that you are required to stab your wires into the backplate is enough to keep me from using it. Furthermore, whomever "engineered" this product saw fit to not include a mechanical release for the wires that are stabbed. This forces you to work the wires out with pliers, which by itself isn't a big deal, but if you encounter a wire that's already been stressed from removal once, and that wire breaks inside the terminal, there is no way to remove the piece that broke. This then forces someone to re-order a backplate that has been rendered useless by this huge design flaw. I will do everything in my power to convince this homeowner to switch from deako to a more sensible device choice with much less problems. At this point, anything would be better than deako and I will forever recommend homeowners choose something different than your sub-par product.”
