To help improve its staying power, here are a few tips that might make a difference:
Use a Lip Liner – Applying a lip liner in a matching or neutral shade helps create a base for your lipstick to grip onto. You can even fill in your lips entirely with liner for extra longevity.
Instead of applying one thick layer, apply a thin layer of lipstick, blot with a tissue, and then apply another layer. This helps the colour set and last longer.
Lightly dusting a translucent setting powder over a tissue placed on your lips can help lock in the colour without making your lips feel dry.
