“We don't buy furniture online unless we can see the product in person. There's a lot of junk out there. We were so intrigued with these stools that we literally flew from California to Denver as a stopover on another trip across the country. We saw the stools in person and felll in love. What was also great about being able to see them in the Denver showroom is that we actually then decided on a different color and material. These are truly well-made and have that look like they were made by a craftsman in a studio. High quality leather straps, solid upholstery, well-engineered legs. The wood is high quality and solid. While at the store we ran into another customer who had these stools and raved...so much so that they were adding additional Denver modern pieces to their home. Have you ever seen hundreds of five-star reviews and wondered that it simply can't be true? It's true with these. We can see ouselves adding other items from this brand as the need develops. Get these! We looked at a lot of retailers and for the price you can't do better. I'll also add that the shipping cost was very reasonable and we received them two days after orderig them, and they were packaged appropriately to ensure against damage. The quality and service exceeded expectations and is what everyone hopes for when opening their wallet for high quality merchandise.”
“I found and follow Denver Modern on IG and that is where I first saw the Vail Counter Stools. I'd been looking everywhere for stools to put in my future home under construction. My whole plan is to replace the cheap, easily disposable furniture I currently have with actual furniture that is well constructed and made to last. Not particle board, veneers and things that will quickly deteriorate. I read constant comments on how much these stools cost and frankly, it was a hard pill to swallow for me as well. But the design lured me in as well as the reviews from actual people who bought them. Yes, they could be an inch or 2 taller for a counter stool and yes, the back is slightly reclined a bit more than maybe some people would like. But when the packages arrived within days of being ordered and I opened the first box I was thrilled. They are well constructed, very sturdy and very comfortable. I thought the cushion material would be flimsy, but it's firm but cushions well. I read "Oh, who would like those, just crumbs in the crevices", well, I'm not sure what you're dropping on your chairs, but it's hardly effort to take a cloth and wipe out the crevices in the cushions. Bottom line, these Vail Stools exceeded my expectations. They are solid, well-constructed and comfortable. Maybe not the most comfortable, but I’ll sacrifice some comfort for style. I’d love to share a photo, but they are in a temporary home that I hate. Maybe after their new home is finished being built.”
