“We absolutely love these stools. We have them in the boucle. The seat is made from a high density foam which makes for a very comfortable spot at the kitchen island. The footprint is ideal - not too big or small - and suits both me at 5'5" and my husband at 6'3". They are very well made, high quality and so beautiful. We've been through our fair share of counter stools and these are the goldilocks of them all. One thing I would note is the seat height at 25". It feels lower than your average stool. Just fine for me but perhaps for someone a little shorter it could be too low. Overall a great experience with Denver Modern. Melanie in customer service very helpful”

“When you get these stools into your home (and you should!) you will be able to see the actual hand work that went into them. These are not produced on some automatic machine in a factory. These are beautiful and handmade. PLUS, the most important thing I can say, is that I have the white boucle stools, and my very rowdy nieces and nephews have gotten juice and laffy taffy and other things on them. Very thankfully, they cleaned back to perfect with just a damp washcloth with a little dish soap. Very impressive. I had one issue with one chair, and the company handled it very well.”
“This stool is solid, beautiful, and comfortable. My only quibble with it is that I bought it in leather, and unfortunately, my cat thinks it makes a great scratching post. I fully accept that owning cats with claws this is a risk. However, this is also a very expensive chair, that now looks quite awful after a month of use. If I had read a review such as this, I would not have chosen this chair, so I'm writing now to help those of you with cats. Perhaps the cloth version would be fine. I actually asked the company if they would work with me on getting me a deal on the cloth version because I love the stool but they were unwilling and I'd have to shell out for full price again.”
