Royal Beach Apartments Bulgaria Earlier this summer my Boyfriend and I decided to go on holiday as a treat for finishing my A-levels. We had no idea where we wanted to go ... Debbie suggested Sunny Beach in Bulgaria, a fun, lively tourist magnet. She gave us a list of hotels she was in contact with, she provided us with endless examples of attractions, day trips and spas. From her immediate enthusiasm and confidence I knew Debbie knew exactly what she was talking about. When in contact with both myself and the Royal Barcelo Debbie was extremely helpful, she made sure that we had everything we needed and wanted. When arriving at the hotel I was blown away it was stunning and stylish, the staff were extremely helpful and our room (or shall I say apartment!! ) was out of this world. Debbie had made sure that we were put in the most amazing suite possible. The rooms were furnished beautifully and having our own kitchen also meant that if we wished we could make our own food in the evenings instead of going out for dinner. Our apartment had two rooms including a massive bedroom and a kitchen diner/ lounge. Each room had a balcony looking over the outside bars and sea, it was a hundred times better than I ever expected. Throughout the week we ate at gorgeous restaurants, we went to Bulgaria’s best aqua park and even went on a luxury catamaran cruise to spot dolphin’s. This holiday would not have been so incredible without Debbie and her amazing passion for her work. Both my partner and I were and still are in love with Bulgaria and would love to return again one day. However without Debbie none of this would have been possible, we just simply wouldn’t have gone at all so thank you for opening our eyes to such a beautiful part of this world. Thank you Alice

Recommendation Debbie provided excellent customer service in organising holidays for my late father for many years, and often went the extra mile to support him, well beyond what would be reasonably expected. This showed itself not just in terms of finding and arranging just what he wanted, and taking care of admin and interactions with travel organisations, but also in the level of care and attention to detail that she showed. She puts a lot of time and effort into every single customer to make things exactly right from what I have seen. She also has the patient of a saint! I cannot recommend Debbie highly enough. Cyprus Dear Debbie, Just a few lines to let you know the Holiday to Northern Cyprus was great and with the fact that it was out of season and the beaches and roads were very quiet, it was so much better than we could every imagine it would be. We loved the Pia Bella Hotel the staff were just what you said they would be, so helpful and nothing was ever to much trouble. Many thanks for organising it and we will definitely get in touch when we need to book our next holiday and we have recommended you to our friends and family Mr & Mrs Williamson

Our Holiday Dear Debbie, We would like to say thank you for the arrangements you made for our holiday, it went without a hitch and we had an enjoyable time. You were very patient dealing with all our queries and indeed felt like a trusted friend. New Zealand is a fantastic country to visit and we were safe in the knowledge you had our return flight booked. We would not hesitate to recommend help from you to any of our friends wishing to travel in the future. Best wishes, Marian and Peter

Our Fabulous Holiday Dear Debbie Thank you for booking us such a fabulous holiday, This is our holiday from start to finish 1 . Jet2 Holidays is the best airline we have flown with, They looked after us as soon as we arrived at their desk. (special assistance). They wheeled us straight to the front for check in, straight through customs, into duty-free and then to the gate. The plane had more leg room and a cup holder attached to the seat in front. Coming home we had the same service, We have never laughed so much as we did from the captains commentary, He chatted throughout the flight keeping us informed with witty remarks in between like we about to fly over the M25 shall we nip in for a coffee. He was that amusing everyone applauded when we touched down. Captain's name was Nicholas. 2 . Hotel Las Dalias didn’t look anything special from the outside, but once inside things looked up. Everyone checking in were given a glass of “Champers”. The rooms were the norm but the position was perfect. Reception, upstairs bar/lounge and our rooms were 3rd floor. Overlooking the swimming pool, bar, and patio area. The main pool was cold, but they also had a smaller outside pool that is heated and children's pool. 3 . We were told reps were there every day and they wouldn't bother you. If you needed them say for trips or any problems you could see them or phone them. Much better than going to meetings or them pestering you for trips etc. 4 . The food was really good, As well as the normal salads and hot meals they did different meals like steak, pork or lamb chops , sushi prawns and mussel nights. Their soups, although repetitive, were really nice. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. 5 . Entertainment was good - in the daytime there were varied games like darts, archery, rifle shooting bowls and bingo. The animation team were brilliant. They never pushed anyone to join in but they were so happy and funny that you'd go with the flow. The evening entertainment was good and varied, Main entertainment was in a large room downstairs next to the patio bar. There were 60's, 70's, 80's nights, Mo-Town, Michael Jackson, Elvis, and 3 Tenors and Freddie Mercury tribute act's. They did Mamma Mia night. In the upstairs lounge bar they would have a musician/singer who played and sang easy listening music or country music. They really did cater for all tastes. 6 . I think they either pay the staff well or really look after them because all the staff, waiters, reception, cleaners, and animation team were all really helpful and happy and so cheerful all the time , The Director, Abraham Trujilano, was very helpful, he gave me a Iberostar card case. He has got your business card and has given me his to send to you which I have included. 7 . January Temperature was between 25-30, mainly 28 degrees, We will definitely be going again. 8 . This is a 4*Star Hotel with 5*Star service Yours Sincerely M, J & D Margaret, Jack & Darrell

Not for the faint hearted but WOW!! Not for the faint hearted but WOW! My husband and I recently went on the Seven Cities in Seven Days tour of Italy. I booked through Debbie at Designer Travel and she did all the work of booking the trip. It was originally going to be a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday (although I decided to tell him as he also started looking at holidays!). Anyway with the birthday in mind, Debbie made sure we had the most wonderful rooms at our hotels. Our view at the lovely hotel at Lake Garda was breathtaking. It is a very busy week with early breakfast between 7/7.30am to get on the road in good time, so if you want a relaxing holiday this is not for you, but you will be missing out on a great experience. We had a fantastic tour guide called Bill, an ex-pat from Leeds who was very entertaining and what he didn't know about Italy wasn't worth knowing. He deserved 20 out of 10. Our first hotel was lovely but it fell down a little on the food front. Nothing awful but slow and no traditional Italian fare which we were looking forward to knowing how proud they are of their cuisine. The waitresses worked very hard but the general opinion was that they could do with help in the kitchen, and the hotel wasn't even full. The Lake was 5 minutes walk from the hotel with busy little bars & cafes. Our 2nd day started with the short journey to Sirmioni on Lake Garda before heading to Verona. Day 3 - an early start for the long journey to Venice...amazing. Bill had organised gondola rides for €20 each if wanted...a bargain. Six to a gondola and we floated along and sang happy birthday to my husband! We also had a guided tour with earpieces and free time after. Day 4 - an early start to have luggage loaded onto coach before heading to the Tuscan hills and Florence. In the afternoon, we headed to the next hotel at Chianciano Terme where we all enjoyed the great Italian evening meals. None of us were ever late in bed lol. Day 5 - we had a beautiful journey through the Tuscan hills to the most beautiful San Gimignano. I could have easily spent all day here and would love to return with more time. Then we headed off to the city of Sienna, where the famous Palio horse race takes place. Another place where the time went too fast. Day 6 - Rome. A guided tour where the local guide joined us on our coach for all part walking and part driving tour of the city. The Colosseum was the most awe inspiring for my husband & myself . Free time after the tour. Day 7 dawned bright and very early again for the luggage loading and we headed off to Assisi with it's stunning views. A peaceful place. On the long journey to our next hotel, Bill and our wonderful coach driver for the week, took us on and detour to avoid stopping at all motorway services and we visited the lovely Lake Tresmaine...an added bonus. Yes, a very busy but an amazing opportunity to see a lot in a short space of time. Our party of 38 consisted of ages ranging between 82 and 21 year olds. And thank you, Debbie, at Designer Travel. You took out the hassle, sorted out any worries I had and gave me any information I requested. We will be booking with you again. MR C & MRS A DUKE
