“This was actually tasty. Simply a nice chunky beef casserole with a pasty sheet on top. If this was constructed into more of a round pie with pastry top & bottom, it would be much better & actually resemble a pie.”
“So tasty and the pastry was so buttery and delicious! Great balance of veggies and lean meat so no need to add extra veg or sides. Fed our family of four easily with some leftover (and we have two growing boys!) so portions are generous. Great value for money. Will be ordering this one again for sure.”
“Only negative feedback is that I couldn’t get the plastic to tear away from the aluminium tray completely so I wasn’t comfortable putting the tray in the oven with bits of plastic on the rim of the tray. Instead I had to transfer the pie to another dish, but it wasn’t the right size. As a result the watery liquid melted as it cooked and the pie didn’t cook in the liquid like it would have if it was in the original tray. It ended up tasting amazing, but it didn’t present well at all once out of the oven. If I had a dish that was the exact same size I’m sure it would have been fine. But an easier fix is to use a cardboard lid with tabs on the aluminium to seal it. Just an idea.”
