“As an Indian, some changes have been made recently or a new chef? Cashews if added must be pan fried rather than throwing them in raw. Plus Dhal must be tempered at the end so as to draw out the flavours. I tempered it myself to draw out the flavours compared to when I first started with DL, where the dhal was tasty and not bland.
While I will continue to buy the food, I have found that some of the items lack seasonings, Cornish pasties, 8 veg pasta ( now has boccocinni)”

Thanks so much for your review but sorry to hear you've not been enjoying our Dahl lately. We can assure you that we haven't had a change or recipe or team so the Dahl should be as good as it usually is. Given we do cook everything by hand there is a chance of slight variations from batch to batch and the level of seasoning would be one of those things that can vary. We have taken your feedback on board about the cashews though and will see if we can improve in that area. As for other dishes you mentioned, we did improve the seasoning on the cornish pasties since your last order and the 8 veg pasta is actually lighter on the seasoning intentionally as it's a recipe more targeted towards toddlers and little ones.
