“How lovely that the Diner Ladies are happy to give away their trade secrets, although to be fair, they are probably safe in the knowledge that we will keep ordering in rather than attempting to recreate the meals as the recipes have a lot of delicious ingredients for which we would have to shop. And it didn't include my favourite vegetarian Cornish pasties so I will definitely continue to order them in bulk when they are on the menu. But just to make one or two favourites in large batches will be useful on occasion. The book is beautifully presented, clearly laid out and a joy to read.”
