“Slides loose easily due to fabric and correct weight of fixings. Dog is now walking without pulling and instant response to the slightest tension "twitch" on the lead. The only disadvantage of a slip lead for training is that I have found I can't use a training lead (separately of course) to help with recall training because if the dog steps on the long training lead he immediately does an emergency stop! If it's a choice I will ditch the long recall training lead & use another method for recall training and enjoy calm non pulling walking sorted in just one week.
