“Many very well known and not very known brands make sunglasses and in the past 25 years I put together an exquisite collection of very unique models from broad range of brands . In the past 4-5 years I��ve been wearing limited edition Louis Vuitton Charlestons in black daily, but I��ve been wanting to replace them for some time already due to their weight and the fact that I always have to be absolutely careful with them, since at this time they cannot be replaced and they are already classics, thus wearing them daily was not something I wanted to do for much longer.
The way I see glasses, sunglasses or eyeglasses, they are very personal, they have to be you, they have to fit you, but you have to fit them also, if you are a man or a woman of exquisite taste and style.
Not to repeat myself but many brands make sunglasses, but regardless of their price, they can come and go. They are not statements for life. It is very rare to find glasses that can do that image magic. They are not image makers regardless how much you pay for them. You can pay a significant amount for them but in 3 years they are in their case in the back of your sunglasses cabinet collecting dust.
Your sunglasses or eyeglasses should carve a character for you or should define your character to the outside world. When we think of some very well known names, they come to mind with their glasses. If you think about it, in my opinion, those glasses carved their image in time and stamped them in our minds for life and we will always think of those people with those glasses on. Think of Karl Legerfield, Jack Nicholson or Ray Charles, or Steve McQueen and many more and you will visualize them with their sunglasses or eyeglasses.
Because of the fact that I established a certain image, I could not find the correct sunglasses that would fit me like a glove and would replace my LV��s until I accidentally came across Donahugh on IG.
At first I was skeptical and didn��t think $70 would buy me quality glasses to replace my $2000 pair until I clicked on the buy it now and received them in mail.
When the black Eastons with light brown lenses arrived in mail, I was truly shocked at the quality and also comfort. I was so skeptical that the brand most likely just spent a great amount on their advertising and photography and they only look great in photos and will most likely be just an average quality low budget, glasses but my God I was wrong.
There is so much detail, craftsmanship on these glasses. There has to be an artist behind them. Only artist soul could create such product. I bought a pair of Jacques Marie Mage��s prior buying these but I could not have them on for more than 2 hours at a time. Another artist created those but did not keep in mind that ears and nose do get tired like your hands and feet do. Whoever made these, thought of that too but did not take away the thickness of my frames.
The first week they were tight, but now I don��t even feel I have them on. Sometimes I walk around the house late in the evening with my Eastons on and only after my wife reminds me to remove them, I remember to remove them because they have become part of me in just two months.
I ended up buying all colors of Easton model and double of the black ones and I��m buying another black one today because I dropped my first pair while in the hurry and any other sunglasses would break the way I dropped them but I only got a single tiny chip on the frame you will never see but I already know it��s there so I will have to replace them. This is also what��s great about them. I��m a perfectionist and I can��t even have small chip and with Donahugh I don��t have to worry about that. I will replace them now and will keep this pair in my second vehicle.
I decided to buy every color of Donahugh��s 3 different models that I think will work for me. These glasses are amazing in every aspect. This comes from someone that��s so absolutely picky and demanding and knows what he wants. Donahugh was able to satisfy my demands and made sunglasses just the way I imagined them. I am so pleased with my purchase.
This is a serious brand, the designers behind these glasses are people with magnificent taste and the company does not cut corners on the thickness of their plastic, on their hardware, thus you get your monies worth and more. I found my glasses after so much searching and many people that know me, see me daily, did not even realize I replaced my LV��s because of how bulky and massive these are, but thought I only replaced the lenses on my previous glasses and complemented on the new color lenses. Eastons truly are a style of their own.
What I meant to say this entire time, these are timeless sunglasses and will stand the test of time. Don��t doubt the brand and buy with confidence. The only thing I complained about was the shipping time (about 5-7 days) but understanding the price point I should not have expected more. I don��t mind paying a little extra to get them much quicker and they don��t mind doing it either. Thanks Donahugh for making such great sunglasses. You have a customer for life”
