“I am an MA Photography student exploring ideas of the rural and urban encounter through the activity of walking. As this can be seen as being a transient and ephemeral process I wanted to create a hard copy publication to reflect this in terms of a zine or photo-zine. A quick Google brought up Doxdirect. Their website is very clear and I was amazed to read of their speedy service and very competitive prices. On a Monday afternoon I uploaded my PDF to their site without any trouble and payment too was very efficient. On Thursday morning I received the printed A5 booklet via First Class Royal Mail. The result is superb, in its quality, printing and finish and I am more than delighted! This is the place to go to for amazing and efficient online printing output. “I usually get my brochures printed & bound locally where the staff are often rude & unhelpful. Their equipment was broken last week so I had to find an alternative. I found Doxdirect online & am SO glad I did. They bent over backwards to be helpful & were a lot cheaper too. The parcel arrived very quickly in a sturdy box so brochures arrived in perfect condition. The quality was superb. Highly recommended & I certainly won't be going back to Staples!”

“I've have had great things from DoxDirect in the past, but this time I felt let down. Printing full colour A4 sheets and a saddle stitched A5 booklet, I found the quality much lower than I would expect from a professional service. The A4 pages were edge-edge prints with a blue background, which for some reason changed in shade from blue to a purpley hue as you went down the page - not exactly ideal. The contents of the A5 book were perfect, but the cover, printed in a dark grey, had visible lines and stripes. It also had a thick band on the opening edge which made it look like it had been sat out in the sun, partially covered, and had faded. I'm glad I only had a one-off printed, and unfortunately I don't have time to send it back, but I would certainly ask questions with the printing of darker colours in future, if I don't go elsewhere that is.”

“Doxdirect produced a booklet for me that was just as I wanted. The turn around is excellent and the fact that there is no minimum order level was very important to me. Oh, and the sweets were an added bonus”

“Louise Gipps was EXTREMELY helpful with the documents that I had sent through doxdirect, as well as patient. I was new to Indesign, so was not sure what settings to use when converting it to PDF print, and she sent screen shots of what to do. The quality of the print was a little lower than I was hoping, but they were very demanding prints (lots of photos) and the booklet was very good value for money. I would definitely use doxdirect again, purely because of the fantastic customer service.”

“Very efficient service I opted for the two day delivery and in arrived as promised. The results were excellent better than I had anticipated a very professional looking booklet was delivered with separators. The web site was very easy to use and I particularly like the interface that was used to upload the original document very well presented with a nice easy feel when using the document preview. “Such a great company - so glad I found them! Called out a problem with the original document I uploaded which gave me a chance to address the issues and resubmit. I chose a booklet with saddle stitching on 170gsm colour silk. It blew me away - as well as the interviewers who I presented it to - really cheap, came quickly. Will definitely use them again!”
