“So previously to using this I was using the cheap OPK sticks and an app. I wasn’t crazy impressed with this - it is very basic but it’s simplicity is its selling point. Compared to the OPK sticks I preferred it as you had to test first thing in the morning rather than the afternoon (who is easily managing to fit that in to their working day?!) and didn’t have to dehydrate yourself before it. The sticks are super easy to use though the machine wanted to test really early in my cycle and I ended up being “high” for like 10 days which wasn’t accurate. It did predict my peak days perfectly though and I used the pregnancy test a day before my period was due. Somehow I got pregnant the very first time using this! I wonder if it was also psychosomatic that I felt more in control of my cycle. Either way it worked for me so gotta recommend!”
“I purchased the clear blue advanced fertility monitor along with the pre seed lubricant as recommended in some of the reviews and was amazed when I fell pregnant the first month of using the test. I had thought that I was ovulating earlier in the month after tracking my cycles on a free app and we had been trying for nearly a year. So I was incredibly grateful to this test confirming exactly when I ovulated and I believe that the pre seed also helped. The customer service from Dr Fertility is also excellent!”
“Me and my partner decided to try the monitor to see if we could makes things happen quicker. I found out I was pregnant in January and discovered I had a silent miscarriage in March, it took us a year trying. This machine has not worked for us, if anything it had made me worry a lot more about my chances and slightly paranoid that something is wrong with me. Both cycles took 20 test with all high days and no peak, I will be giving it one more month, it’s quite pricey for the tests and I mentally don’t want another month of 20 tests with me feeling no better off. Can appreciate it has worked for many but it certainly hasn’t for me”
