“I bought this cream hoping it would work as a dupe for DRMTLGY or Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream, however just having the same ingredients in a cream does not make the formulation work out as successfully. There is a difference in the performance of Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream and Acure Night Cream. While Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream feels special on the skin, Acure Night Cream feels just like another cream.
Note: My skin is super dry and sometimes sensitive. I am 30 +
Also, after first application, I noticed little red, dry patches around my lips. Nevertheless, I thought It would be nice to give this cream a chance for 2 weeks for a complete judgement. However, the user experience is so boring with this cream that after a few nights I lost the inspiration to use this cream at all.
I am not angry or whatever about this cream, just maybe this could work as a reminder that sometimes there is a reason why certain creams cost more. In this case seems like Drunk Elephant has spent more time in the lab researching for the right formula and that is the price you pay for.”
