Thank you for your message, none of our ingredients contain milk or eggs. Reasoning for putting it on the back of back is to inform buyers that it is made in the same factory that handles those products. Of course adequate precautions are taken to minimise any cross contaminations, things like segregation of ingredients, cleans downs, batch making and further procedures followed by staff. Ultimately many vegan products do have this claim or similar to ensure that they clear to those who may be allergic. As well legally we must do so, if the factory handles other products that are not vegan. Many factories are not sole dedicated to being allergy free, only these can use terms like "dairy free/ egg-free". As mentioned on packaging too it will say "not suitable for allergy suffers". The packaging has also been legally checked by Food & Drink Federation and Food Standard Agency and also by The Vegan Society to ensure we are allowed to use the term "Vegan". We hope that clarifies the situation. We are sorry that you are disappointed and understand should you not want to purchase in the future. We hope this clarifies your concern.
