These coconut wafers arrive loose in a box, with each one individually wrapped. As soon as you open them you can smell the coconut! Although the bars are quite tasty. I found them to be a bit dry and powdery, which I wasn't a fan of. However, they're not overly sweet, which I do like. They're a good way of getting that extra protein without also having a lot of calories. The price is not too bad for bars of this type and compares well to some others. Overall, although I'm not a fan of the texture the taste is good and very positively coconut so I'm quite happy with my order.

These Chocolate Coconut Protein Wafers are an absolute winner! With 9.2g of protein per bar, they make for a great post-workout snack or simply a guilt-free treat when cravings strike. The milk chocolate coating and coconut filling are indulgent without being overly sweet. The only downside? They’re so delicious that you might find yourself eating more than one! At 162 calories per bar, it’s a solid, satisfying snack. 5 stars from me!

The wafer bars arrived well-packaged, with all 30 bars in perfect condition and a generous 10-month best-before date. They're lightly coated with desiccated coconut, so be prepared for a few stray flakes! The bars offer a satisfying texture and crunch, with dark chocolate being the dominant flavour. I found a single bar to be the perfect portion for a quick, light snack when I'm feeling peckish. And honestly, I wouldn't feel guilty indulging in two!Overall, the flavour is decent and, crucially, not overly sweet compared to other wafer bars on the market that aim for a healthier profile. At just £0.83 per bar, they offer great value. I'm a fan... I like them!

I think these are quite possibly the nicest protein snack bars I have tried. They actually taste like and the texture is almost the same as Blue Riband bars. I honestly don’t feel like they are a product aimed at someone who is likely to be on some kind higher protein diet. They taste really nice – I’d happily eat another one straight after – I like that you can actually taste (and see) the coconut too (although no way is it a Bounty) and there’s no synthetic aftertaste although my mouth does feel a bit dry but I think that is the clagginess of the wafer which is normal as wafers are dry and a swig of water soon gets rid of that. Trust me, it tastes much nicer than other protein bars I have tried.I don’t consider it low calorie by any means at 162 calories per bar but the sugar is low at 0.8g per wafer (2.6g per 100g). I am trying to eat less sugar so this is a perfect lunchtime snack after my lunch.Price wise, this box is £25 for 30 bars making each bar just over 83p. I don’t often buy single bars of chocolate from shops but I bet you would pay 50p for a kit-kat nowadays, and the single protein bars sold in shops cost far more. If you can bear to limit yourself to one per day it’s a month’s supply and delivery is free with Prime and usually next day. I would consider buying these again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a low sugar chocolate fix.

Not really sure why these are aimed exclusively at women, but there we go.They do taste nice with a subtle coconut flavour and a cream/wafer inside. I do find the texture to be quite dry in the mouth, you will need a drink with one of these for sure.At 160kcal, they are not the lowest calorie snacks if you are counting.

There is something rather interesting about the fact that a brand with such a generic name would actually be a gender focused one though glancing at the about section does given the impression that they'd aimed for very specific amounts (eg the protein content per bar being 9.2g and the use of fibre) so I imagine its genuine that women would get the best usage from these but I imagine anyone can eat them regardless of intended audience. That aside they are actually pretty tasty just as you'd want a coconut wafer too without the existence of protein being overpowered as it can be in protein bars, I also personally did not find them 'dry' but I do understand why some people might think that way given the kind of thing it is. It feels light both in a literal sense and when eaten so certainly makes for a good gym snack (or whenever else works best). I personally am not bothered by the existence of palm oil in this as it seemingly does not effect me though some do look out for it hence the mention. As for pricing I had previously recommended the 10 pack of these and so given that these have greater value being £0.83 per bar instead of the alternative pack sizes £1 per bar I find these to therefore be even more recommendable and something I will look forward to slowly munching through, I probably won't eat one every day though I do note it would still be a whole months worth even if you did have 1 per day.

I was cautious about these bars as they have less protein than I usually choose in a protein and, at 30g, they are a smaller bar. I do like the calorie count though and I love coconut. The first thing I noticed is that the bar is bigger then I expected - I think that is because the wafer element is so light.Coconut comes through strongly in every bite. I love the slightly dry texture which added to the lovely coconut taste. There is also some shredded coconut which adds more to the texture.I enjoyed eating this bar and thought they were very satisfying. My only problem is how to stop at just the one. This is marketed with "women is mind" which, in my view, is complete nonsense. These are perfect for anyone who likes them.At the current price this is good value for 30 bars.

PROS-a palpable coconut flavour (especially if you eat them upside down)-not overly sweet-a nice crunch from the wafers-wafers break up the typical granular/pasty protein paste so that the texture (that I obviously don’t like) is minimally noticeable. Kudos-low calorie, high protein-decent valueCONS-noneMY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
