“These socks have been great for a 90 year old family member with frail skin. The cuff fits without being tight, they stay on and he finds them comfortable and has no complaints about them at all. He is a very discerning person who finds fault with almost everything else in life!! The first pair I bought over a year ago has washed really well and look as good as new so those of us doing the laundry are equally happy. The two new pairs I ordered look to be of the same high standard. Highly Recommended.”
Thank you so much for your kind review, Elizabeth! We're thrilled to hear that our No Elastic Socks are working so well for your family member. It’s wonderful that the fit and comfort meet his needs. We're also glad to know that they’ve held up beautifully after washing. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and your recommendation means a lot to us. Best regards, Ruth.
“Very pleased with these socks !! I pre-washed a 3-pack at 50º with low temp machine drying before wearing. Worn as warm weather stay-on bed socks and also with sandals [I have a 5EE fitting] the medium size is light-weight and comfortable from heel to smoothly finished toe - they are a slightly wrinkled but stay-up fit [exactly as the illustration on site]
On removing the tiny amount of elastic [2 threads at the leg opening] as advised possible to do on site - I found this quite fiddly at my age, though do-able with care [make sure the threads chosen for cutting have elasticity ! ] this has not caused my socks to come off in bed, nor to fall down in sandals, as the ribbing does appear sufficient to keep them up : ) Thank you Eczema Clothing !!”
“Bought for a discerning 88 year old with a little swelling and a very particular idea of what the perfect sock is like. Our verdict: Pretty good. Leaving a small indent at the calf and not as thin, soft and smooth as I was hoping for. The search for the perfect 100% cotton sock, soft and thin that won't leave an indent continues. I may be back in future to buy more of these perfectly acceptable socks.”
