“I have been looking for briefs made from 100% cotton and I was thrilled when I found yours. However, I am very disappointed as I am unable to wear them. The thread that sews the elastic into the leg openings is synthetic not cotton and has irritated my skin. I am looking for briefs sewn with cotton thread and without elastic in the leg openings. Please, could you make some?”
Dear Paula, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and raise this with us. I'm really sorry you've had a problem with the thread. The thread used in the majority of our underwear is polycotton - cotton covered polyester - as pure cotton breaks easily and is not used in most machine stitched garments that have any stretch. We have found that our mid-rise briefs in natural - with no dye as this also sometimes causes issues - are our most popular for very sensitive skin.
