The Economy 10-hole Metal Laying Nest is our lowest priced 10-Hole nest. This nest has the same basic principal as the 10 Hole Metal Laying Next (product code TECS-NS-9), with the exception that this nest has metal bottoms in the laying compartments instead of the new plastic nest bottoms. It also has the old standard wooden perches instead of the new plastic perches.
Hole Size: 7" H x 11.5" W
Assembled Dimensions: 35.5" H x 60" L x 12.25" W

*Note: A Rivet Gun is required for assembly (sold separately).

“I love this ten hole metal nesting, shipping was fast. I would have gave a 5 star rating if the package was better quality, pack better. When it arrived it had several damaged points and in the middle. Better packaging would be excellent.”

“I very unhappy with the nesting box design. doesn't matter what directions you place them, they fall through the bottom. I would return but of course everything is put together with rivets and all would need to be drilled out. Yet another great product made in China and distributed in the states. Very disappointed.”

“Excellent product—need better instructions so be careful! Analyze how the floor of the box is formed before adding on the back pieces because the lip need to be toward the bottom. Other than that, very pleased with the product and feel like it’s excellent for the price”

“Purely from my chickens perspective, these nesting boxes are an EXEMPLARY product for the price. Durable, easy to clean, easy to maintain especially in my high traffic egg laying barns. Very pleased with the performance of these nesting/egg laying boxes. Take it from my thousands of hens: they're laying eggs in these boxes like crazy!”

“It’s a basic nest box. I chose this because it’s lighter than wood and easier, lighter, and slightly cheaper than building one from plywood. It was missing the 2 front parts, but they took care of the problem in a timely manner. I was not aware that I would have to rivet most of it together. I already had a rivet gun so it was no big deal. I’d buy again.”

“Arrived early, fast and super easy to assemble, durable, LEAST expensive nesting box in the marketplace, easy to clean, fun to paint and most importantly, I put fake grass squares, shavings then real coastal hay in each nesting box and -voila- all 1,200 of my chickens immediately jumped in and started laying eggs. They love the fresh NEW nests. The chickens highly recommend buying this product for it put a smile on their beaks! Cheers from all the ladies at American Egg Company (Texas).”
