“Provenendo da un tagliasiepi elettrico a filo semi professionale di altro marchio (usato per 10 anni ed ancora in ottima forma), ammetto che ero un pò titubante nei confronti di un tagliasiepe a batteria.
Ho scelto il tagliasiepe DeWALT DCMHT564 sia per la qualità dei prodotti di questa marca, sia perché posseggo un altro elettroutensile con lo stesso tipo di batteria (18V).
Il tagliasiepe funziona molto bene, il peso è accettabile, ed il taglio è preciso e perfetto, merito della lama affilatissima.
Sono rimasto molto sorpreso, in senso positivo delle prestazioni di questo tagliasiepi, sia nel normale uso che nella durata della batteria: per tagliare 80 metri di siepe ci ho impiegato circa un paio d'ore con una sola batteria senza ricaricarla, ed alla fine la batteria aveva ancora una tacca di carica!
Ho più che dimezzato il tempo impiegato per eseguire il lavoro rispetto al tagliasiepi a filo!
Quindi posso affermare che questo attrezzo è consigliato sia per uso hobbistico che per uso professionale.
Una cosa che però mi ha lasciato perplesso, è che non si riesce a capire se il motore è brushless o meno: nel sito di DeWALT (ho guardato quello UK, USA, IT) non è specificato, nel listino è indicato come brushless, nel manuale con le spazzole… sul corpo motore non è scritto nulla.
A parte ques’ultima nota, attrezzo fantastico!
Coming from a semi-professional corded hedge trimmer from another brand (used for 10 years and still in excellent condition), I admit I was a bit hesitant about a cordless hedge trimmer.
I chose the DeWALT DCMHT564 hedge trimmer for the quality of this brand's products and because I own another power tool with the same type of battery (18V).
The hedge trimmer works very well, the weight is acceptable, and the cut is precise and perfect, thanks to the razor-sharp blade.
I was very surprised, in a positive sense, by the performance of this hedge trimmer, both in normal use and in battery life: to cut 80 meters of hedge, it took me about a couple of hours with a single battery without recharging, and at the end, the battery still had one signal left!
I more than halved the time it took to complete the job compared to the corded hedge trimmer!
Therefore, I can say that this tool is recommended for both hobbyist and professional use.
One thing that left me perplexed, however, is that it's hard to tell whether the motor is brushless or not: the DeWALT website (I looked at the UK, US, and Italian ones) doesn't specify whether it's brushless, the price list shows it as brushless, and the manual lists it as having brushes... nothing is written on the motor body.
Aside from that last point, it's a fantastic tool!”
