“I wanted to wait at least a couple of months before giving a review of this mattress. At first it felt a bit too firm but after a couple of weeks it began feeling much more comfortable. Here it is now a couple of months down the road, and a few rotations, and I must say, I couldn't be any more happier with the satisfaction of this mattress. This purchase was worth the price.”

“It's about 2.5 months since I've been sleeping on this mattress and, coming from a plush mattress, I definitely needed a break-in adjustment period. While it is marketed as a 10": 6" coils, 1.5"x2 of AirFlow layer, and 1"x2 of quilted cotton actually comes out to and 11" thick mattress. It was higher than my previous mattress so I had to re-adjust to the firmness and the height, which took about a month. The support is really great and it feel like an OG mattress from decades long lost, but it would be nice if it were softer. I'm not sure if it's better achieve with more padding or compromise on the coil quality. For me, I added an extra 1.5" pillowtop cover and the firmness became a medium, which is great for side sleeping. Overall, this is a quality mattress that I recommend but you will need a soft topper if you want to bring down the softness to medium-soft or plush.”

“After far too many years on a mattress that had long since outlived its usefulness, I decided to replace it. I have back issues and I dreaded going to a mattress store because of the salespeople. So of course I went on Reddit for weeks, comparing brands and options. I went with the Medium-Firm by Engineered Sleep because they hit the points that I was looking for: A classic flippable mattress with a comfortable layer of foam (foam stays cool). That's all, no over-the-top extras or multiple adjectives. Long story short, the mattress is great. I normally start on my back and go to my side multiple times, but I find that I'm waking up exactly how I went to sleep! The mattress, while supportive, gently cradles you and keeps you in place. I wake up with my back feeling fine, which I hadn't felt in years. I definitely recommend Engineered Sleep, and I'm glad I found this hidden gem!”

“We got this mattress for my 3 year old son transitioning out of a crib to a big boys bed and and it’s perfect. The 9” mattress is a great height (not too far off the ground) and my son loves it. He sleeps better than he ever did in a crib, could be the bed, could be the mattress! My husband and I have fallen asleep in his bed several times and we always talk about how comfortable the mattress is! Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a new mattress.”

“I needed a supportive but comfortable mattress approximately 9 inches deep. In comparing mattresses, this mattress was superior to others. I also had the ability to customize it to make it firmer around the sides for someone with mobility issues.”
