“This mattress was everything I was looking for! I'm one of those folks who enjoys sleeping on top of a mattress, not sunk down in it. This mattress is firm, but still extremely comfortable. There's great edge support, as well. The only downside is that it's taking a while for the "new mattress odor" to go away. I'm cautiously optimistic that this mattress will retain its firm nature and not begin to sag over time. For now, only a couple of weeks in, it's excellent.”

“I recently bought the Classic Hybrid Queen 12" Ultra-Firm after developing back pain from sleeping on a too-soft mattress. While deciding on a new mattress to buy, I spent a few months comfortably sleeping on the floor on a 3 inch foam pad, so I was worried that no mattress I bought would be firm enough. However, I can confidently say that the quality of my sleep has been instantly upgraded after transitioning to the Classic Hybrid. It is very firm, though not hard like the floor. It doesn't sag in if you sit on the edges, and doesn't sink it appreciably if you sit in the middle (for example, if you like to read in bed). I fall asleep on it more quickly than on the floor or my previous mattress, and wake up feeling more rested. As a mixed-position sleeper, it is excellent for back sleepers. For side sleeping, I experienced a bit of soreness on the sides of my core during the first few days, but this was no longer an issue after about a week. I cannot comment about stomach sleeping since I do not sleep like this. I also run very hot when I sleep, which was an issue with my previous arrangement as sometiems I would even wake up sweating. This hasn't happened anymore since switching to Engineered Sleep. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase! If you're used to going for budget mattresses in the past, like me, I would highly recommend considering an upgrade to this as it definitely improved my sleep. “Our new mattress is simply awesome! It's a bit heavier than other mattresses we've had which adds a little "workout" when making the bed but the support & comfort is superb.”

“I could not be more impressed with Engineered Sleep; both the mattress and the service. I spent weeks obsessively learning about mattress quality, construction and researching feedback and reviews across the internet. Ultimately I ended up going with Engineered Sleep's Classic Hybrid Ultra-Firm. I am so glad I did. The mattress is impeccable. I was nervous to make the purchase, but after asking so many questions to the team at Engineered Sleep they were more than helpful in answering every little inquiry. Their customer support is more than 5 stars. They gave me every detail and insight I desired and did not give me the general car salesman pitches that I would normally get at an in-store mattress company. The mattress is firm as stated, yet also soft to the touch and luxurious. It suits my needs perfectly. I am a king sleeping on a queen and could not be happier. Even after the purchase, Ryan and Davis were impeccable in their care and attention to detail. They also customized a cover for me; which was so nice and added so much to my appreciation of the company.
