“Following a workplace injury I have been forced to sleep on my back, and decided I required a very firm mattress to get a good night's sleep. After much online research and trying a few different options, I came across engineered sleep. I couldn't decide between their latex duo and the classic hybrid ultra firm so I use their chat option and spoke with Ryan. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products, but I still wasn't able to make a decision. I ended up calling the number on their website and once again spoke with Ryan who actually remembered me from the chat! Over the phone he explained to me that it's very easy to make a firm mattress softer, but almost impossible to make a soft mattress firmer. I would personally describe the classic hybrid ultra firm as an 8.5/10 firmness. It is a very flat, firm surface to sleep on that offers very little sinkage or contouring. However, it is very comfortable to lay on with the quilted cover and the 1" of foam giving it a hint of softness. The only downside I have encountered is my arms fall asleep if I roll over onto my side. Otherwise this mattress is excellent”

“Pros: Easy Ordering and impressive website experience. Fast shipping and easy to unpack and setup. Flipping the mattress should extend its life. Overall the mattress seems to be of a high quality. I appreciate the return policy for testing the mattress out - hopefully I won't need to use it. Cons: Would have liked there to be a couple of straps to help move the mattress and since the mattress can be used on both sides, this would help when turning the mattress over. I would say an 8 out of 10 on the firmness scale.”

“We have a king bed frame and purchased two twin mattresses. Her mattress is a twin DUO memory mattress and mine is a firm twin classic hybrid mattress made to match the height of the DUO mattress. Our sheets fit perfect and we are sleeping better than ever. This setup is just right for us and we love our mattresses. We feel like this was only possible at Engineered Sleep Mattress. We previously purchased a queen classic hybrid mattress for our other bedroom.”
