“I’d first seen the item on sportpursuit website, but missed out through inaction! I found the site easily enough and the additional cost was negligible and I thought this would look great on my office wall. The item itself arrived safely in a really well packed box - the detail in the packaging layout is second only to the item detail itself. The initial layout was a bit daunting but the provided reference squares and a laser level made this really easy to start. One thing I found was I was a bit over zealous with the taping up the larger pieces, so I had to buy more tape. I found some on Amazon easily enough (4910 vhb for those who need it)
After a minor misalignment of Brazil I was able to peel the section off and re stick it, but you do need to be very careful not to take the paint and plaster with it. It does prove it will never fall off though! I also spent a fair bit of time on the alignment so the end result is pretty good and aesthetically it looks fantastic. The craftsmanship is awesome and it’s really made a feature of the feature wall. Very happy indeed.
One very minor bit of feedback for the team - on your leaflet there is a duplicate island to the west of Sardinia and Corsica on one side. I scratched my head for a while trying to find it then checked google to confirm the island doesn’t exist :)
Anyway, I’m over the moon with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium wall decoration”
“We ordered a PRIME MAP including Antartica as it is part of the world. We paid for a PRIME MAP and while sticking the piece to the wall we discovered that we received a BASIC MODEL with NO Antartica included. Now it is too late to return the set but we are NOT amused with the service.
You can share this publicly as people may know that you send cheap maps when paid for expensive ones. They should first check on the kitchen table.”
