The CasusGrill disposable BBQ is a great replacement for old fashioned environmentally harmful metal disposable BBQs. The BBQ uses bamboo charcoal briquettes, which sit in a bed of lava stones, insulating the grill and amplifying the heat. It reaches searing temperatures that last up to an hour. The BBQ casing is made from cardboard and the grill itself is made from bamboo sticks – absolutely no metal and no plastic!
Measuring 32cm x 24cm, the BBQ has plenty of space for a large steak, or several sausages, burgers or kebabs. CasusGrill is perfect for grilling halloumi, homemade burgers and vegetable skewers on the beach or in the park, and because of the insulating lava stones, there’s no risk of burning the ground. As there’s no need to use any lighter fluid or chemicals on the BBQ, all you’ll taste is the great food!
The CasusGrill is really simple to use. Just assemble the grill, then light the four corners of the charcoal grid. Place your food on the bamboo grill as usual, and cook away. The BBQ stays hot enough to cooking for around 60 minutes. Once you’re done, ensure that the BBQ is extinguished fully and allow it to cool down. The cardboard can be recycled or composted, and the grill and any remaining charcoal can be composted. Alternatively, the whole BBQ can be placed on a bonfire. The only part of the BBQ that won’t compost down or burn away is the lava stones, which are just that – stones. They can be returned to nature, or make great soil conditioners for growing plants.
