It is estimated that around 200 million plastic toothbrushes are thrown away and end up in landfill every year in the UK alone. That’s simply not sustainable, however the Environmental Toothbrush provides a solution that is, plus it’s Vegan friendly too. The handle is made from MOSO Bamboo, an environmentally friendly and sustainable timber that can be composted after use. Unfortunately, the bristles are made from Nylon – there isn’t a plastic free, sustainable alternative out there yet (other than pig hair, but who wants that in their mouth?) – but they are 100% BPA free, and can be recycled after use.
The Environmental Toothbrush isn’t available in a variety of colours, so you may need to differentiate your toothbrush from the rest of the households. We recommend writing your name on the handle in pencil or being creative and decorating your toothbrush to make it yours.
