We sent you an email earlier, so our apologies if this is redundant! We have not changed our Horse Spray formula, and rest assured, we still make everything by hand here at our headquarters in St Augustine. The gallon you received from your order on 3/21 was from a very recent batch that we made. We do source our ingredients, especially our essential oils, from all over the world, and each batch of oils can look and smell very different due to their natural origins. These are all either cold-pressed or steam distilled straight from the crop of plants that are harvested, and despite their straight-from-nature origin, many can have an intense medicinal smell, due to their strength and highly potent concentration. If you are concerned and would like to return or swap out your gallon, please send us an email at info@equiderma.com and we will help however we can!
“A great find! Started using this in 2025 and decided this year to order straight from the mani. This product is so gentle on the senses. A huge plus, the fine mist makes 'spray' training youngsters more enjoyable for them. I do believe this product has a calming effect for all. My Gypsy Vanner has CPL and hyperkeratosis. The shampoo and lotion are very helpful as is the wound ointment. I recommend Equiderma products to all my barn friends. “Love your products BUT you need to have better shipping for the second time the box arrived mashed with holes. Purchased two gallons and two quarts one nozzle for spray came with no straws to pull the spray into the nozzle. Surely I am not the only one this has happened too. Would you please send me two sprayers for the quarts?”

We are genuinely sorry to hear about your poor delivery experience! Every box leaves our HQ wrapped up with care, we spend a lot of time making and bottling our products and want them to all arrive safe and sound! While most do, unfortunately we do hear of the mishandled delivery from time to time. Some couriers seem to be better or worse in certain parts of the country, and it even seems like it can vary depending on the time of year.
We searched for an email from you regarding this most recent order, and the last time we spoke was in March. Please know that you can and should always reach out to us right away with any issues like this! The best and quickest way to reach us is via email at info@equiderma.com. If you can send photos of the package, we can submit these to the courier as well. Occasionally they'll even step up and accept responsibility for the poor treatment. It sounds as though the straws fell out of the holes in this last damaged package that you received and we will happily send replacements. We'll get them sent out Monday.

The horse spray helps with both. If you have more than one horse or want good value the gallon + quart refill combo is a great option.”
