The only ingredient that is shared between our skin lotion and horse spray is lavender essential oil, so it most likely one of the other essential oils in the spray that is triggering a reaction. It is also possible that the reaction is being aggravated by hight temperatures. Heat will cause a horse's pores to open up, making it more likely for them to experience sensitivity.
