“It was watery when I opened it up. Instead of pouring it out I tried to stir it up. It is lumpy and hard to put on my horse. Pieces keep dropping out of my hand.”
“This is a good product, but first time I ordered it it was like a paste and this time it is very liquid. How should it actually be? The paste was working well for my horse with greasy heal.”
“My horse had rubbed off the entire top of his tail. I used the zinc because he scratch it up pretty badly on a tree. He does not have worms; MTG did not work; coat defense did not work; baby oil Listerine did not work; as a last ditch effort I tried equiderma. At first the zinc oxide covered things, and I thought here we go again. I gave it a week. Washed it with iodine and aloe giving by the doctor. Vet determined it was summer itch. No beans. Got the lotion from a friend switched to that after scabs healed. He now has about 1 centimeter of hair back where there was elephant skin. I ended up getting the shampoo and conditioner, as well. He not completely back with hair, but it looks a hell of a lot better than the first of spring. He will have to be on Tri-hist and have a tail guard during the spring and summer, but last vet visit was told keep doing what you are it’s working.”
