Zinc Paste for Scratches Reviews

4.6 Rating 321 Reviews
My mom bought some for my gelding about 3 months ago and it worked amazing. I was shocked how well it worked. However i just recently bought 2 more jars of the zinc paste and both got sent to me bad. They were both dry and crumbling and i was bot able to keep it on him without it falling off and wasting most of the jar. This was very frustrating because the original jar i recieved months ago was soooo good but this honestly did not seem like all the same ingredients in these last two jars, it was a different consistency. :(

we have ordered this product a few times. the first time we ordered it the consistency was like toothpaste. it was easy to handle and apply. the next time I ordered it, it was pure liquid. You replaced it. When the replacement came, it was so thick that when you applied it, it just fell off. This too was replaced, but it was still a bit thin. Have never received the same product twice. Not sure I will order again.

Seems to work well on sunburns but could have a slightly creamier texture. The current texture does not absorb into the skin and will flake/fall off if not applied carefully.

I have used many types of lotions and potions and Equiderma skin lotion and Zinc Oxide Paste puts them all to shame. My horse has been dealing with skin issues for many months now, but looks amazing since using this product. Great product for a great price.

Product was very easy to use. Smelled great and worked very well. Recommended to others at the barn to help their horses as well.

Fist time I tried and I believe I finally found something that will actually work against the awful scratches my mare gets every year. I combine the Zinc paste with the Calendula Neem ointment. So far love both products!

The paste might need to be stirred or otherwise mixed before applying because it was pretty crumbly . I can’t say how well it works because I was unable to maintain application on my sunburned Paint.

My horse has had the tarry heel and scratches on all four legs for about one month. Used the equiderma shampoo, zinc oxide paste for one week and it is almost 100% gone. Great products. Will buy all again.
