I first bought the zinc oxide paste a few years ago and it was amazing, a nice paste that went on very smooth. Last year (or maybe the year before) I bought 2 jars, and it separates, doesn’t mix well - turns into tiny balls like blue cheese crumbles and because of this, very hard to apply and get it to stay. What happened to the original formula?

Super happy with all the Equiderma products I've used. I live in the pacific NW where mud is an issue. Very happy with the Zinc paste and Lotion products. Excited to try the fly spray, as I've been extremely impressed with this brand. Thanks for all of your wonderful products!

I am using the zinc paste for pastern dermatitis and it is helping. Will have to wait longer to see if it provides a lasting remedy. I am using it, as well as the lotion on skin problems on our mini dwarf horses. It is helping those, too. I would buy it again.

I am a volunteer at an equine rescue. I am using both the zinc paste and lotion on mini dwarf horses who have multiple skin issues that I think are fungal. These dwarves are prone to skin problems. I have previously used the paste on other horses with pastern dermatitis. I have not used the wound ointment yet. There are no dramatic improvements but I am using your product because I think the zinc oxide is a good choice.

I've used zinc paste as a sunscreen before on my horse's nose but recently used it to guard against serum scald after my foster mare had a hard to heal injury on the inside of her left stifle. The wound would drain and the skin below was terribly messy, crusted, and painful. She was losing most of her hair from the drainage. A thin layer of your zinc paste totally guarded the skin around the injured area from damage until the drainage stopped.
