“It would be much better on a lot of counts if you offered the same economics on gallons. It is a terrible shame and waste of plastic and money to only use the spray bottles one time and then throw them out. I'm sure they are not cheap and then clog up landfills(even if you recycle them, most plastic ends up in a landfill because there is very little market for used plastic(. We completely agree with you about reducing waste! We have been busy trying to come up with all kinds of ways to leave a smaller environmental footprint, including switiching to delivery boxes and packing material made from recycled materials, and bringing packing and logistics back in-house so there is less transport of goods and fuel waste. We're also considering different bottling solutions for the future. Currently the gallon is not available on our website precisely because of shipping and fuel and cost issues, but happily, we have been busy negotiating with delivery companies to be able to bring it back, and it should be available for purchase on our site this summer. In the meanwhile, gallons are available at many local tack and feed stores so you can avoid shipping costs, and many other e-commerce sites stock it as well. There are many fantastic second-life uses for quart spray bottles, especially if you make your own household cleaners or concoctions for plants and gardens, and because our spray is made from all essential oils, you don't have to worry about chemical residue in the bottles when you reuse them!
