My horse has thin, sensitive skin and gets like a fungus on his face. I have applied the lotion for the last week and it is so much better. Its almost gone and his face looks so much better!!

I keep this lotion because it’s great for rain rot. And cannon crud. And some funky fungus I just found on my pony’s hind legs. Apply and check it the next day. Really. The next day. It works fast. I speak from experience- I’ve been buying Equiderma products for 4 years now. The hair has regrown on my pony’s cannon bones - the crud is just gone. The fungus is all but gone so I reapplied. The lotion, as all Equiderma products are natural and smell great. I am not compensated for my opinions. I just love these products. Because they work like they say they do!

I have mixed feelings about this product, which is why I gave it three stars, although I guess I can’t blame the company for my horses reaction. I bought this product for one of my horses with sweet itch and one of my donkeys with a skin condition. Fortunately it seems to be working well on my donkey, but my mare broke out in horrendous welts which lasted for three days after using this product once. I was disappointed about that, although there was no way to know she would react like that. I did a small test patch prior, and there didn’t appear to be a reaction, but when I put more on in more spots, it wasn’t a great outcome. I think this product could work great as long as your horse doesn’t have a reaction to it.
