“You literally can’t beat this product when it comes to fungus, scratches/mud fever, or cannon crud. I have recommended it a dozen times over. You can tell it’s very soothing to the horses, and it works with typically two applications, which is wild. I usually apply a generous amount to a clean, dry leg and rub it in well. Then leave it for a full 24-48 hours before washing it off. Since it’s kind of an oily mixture to help repel moisture (which really helps), I have found Dawn is the best thing to wash it off with- make sure you scrub it really well. After the legs dry again, I reapply generously and repeat the process. Usually by that second washing off, whatever affliction I’m dealing with is coming off or gone entirely. Amazing product. It also works in a somewhat preventative fashion. If you have a horse you know is prone to fungus or scratches, and you’re stuck in mud season, it helps to prematurely apply it to their legs every so often, maybe a couple days per week. Scratches especially can be very dangerous leading to infection, lymphangitis, cellulitis, etc. Thank god for Equiderma!”
“Equiderma lotion is the only product I've found that stops my itchy Tennessee Walker from rubbing his tail off. I apply every 3rd or 4th day year round. Worth every penny.”
“My gelding has white legs. He has had this gross waxing stuff on this rear legs for the last 10 years. I would try and pick it off, rub it off, etc. which irritated him which I did not like doing. I thought we would just have to live with it. I was reading Horse and Rider and I saw your ad. It referred to Cannon Crud. I never heard it called that but thought maybe it would work. But of course also thought just another "sales job" but I had to try it anyway. So I order a bottle. OMG I put it on and I sware to God the next day the crud was all most gone but a small amount. Put some more on and it was gone the next day completely. He had it in 6 areas. All are gone now. it has been 6 weeks still gone. My mare gone a similar crud feeling stuff on her back hind. I shaved the area and put equiderma on it and it worked there too. l love the product and keep a bottle in my tack room always. Sorry this is so long.”
