“I have a little drafty mustang who has lots of feathering on his legs and crusty bumpy patches, some of them years old by now. My vet and I couldn't get a handle, and it worsened as he gets older and got his Cushings diagnosis. I didn't know that we were battling keratosis until I reached out to friends in the draft horse community. Draft horse people said "duh, I can't believe you don't know about Equiderma with that little draft horse of yours." Well, I didn't then, but I sure do now. The older larger lesions stuck out from his skin and lost hair, they looked like rope burn scars. With one use the newer smaller outbreaks cleared right up. I didn't have a lot of hope for the ones that look like scars, but they are shrinking and growing hair. I can feel them break up into smaller patches and eventually they shed out just like the new outbreaks. I try to get it on his legs 3 times a week, but sometimes it happens less, and yet still we are making slow but sure progress on the big ugly patches. Some of the previously hopeless ones on his pasterns have disappeared! And new spots don't spread or get hair loss when I catch them with the Equiderma. Even the opinionated mustang likes the smell, he asks to smell it every so often when he's getting his spa treatments and doesn't make the funny smell face!
