Based on the famous scene out of the "King Kong" Film, this captures the moment when The Mighty King Kong picks Ann Darrow up in his hand to climb to the top of the Empire State Building. “Faye Rae eat your heart out!: The hand looks realistic and fits really well. Great for fancy dress party, i.e. Oscars theme. Dress is a satin look and comes creased but irons out and is covered by the hand. Great value in my opinion.Jayne”

“Great costume: Wore this to a film character themed party. Lots of great comments everyone thought it was brilliant and very unique. The dress that was supplied with it didn''t fit unfortunately it was too big and I didn''t have time to alter it so I adapted one if my own. I would still highly recommend the costume it looked great and was really comfortable to wear.”

“King Kong''s Handmaiden : Item delivered when expected and was better quality than anticipated. Delighted with the prompt service and quality of goods supplied. Although specifies size 12, in line with other comments, would say that this will fit a small size 14 lady too. Bit taller than the average so had to extend the straps with extra material, but it was fine. Would use this company again for costumes.”

“fab outfit: costume described as up to size 12. I''m normally a 10-12 and it was huge on me so would probably fit a 14 easily. It didnt matter than it was too big as the king kong hand pulled it in. I loved this costume and had such fun wearing it! The dress was cheap but didnt matter as the hand was fab. dress said non iron but ironed it no probs”

“Brilliant brilliant brilliant : Wore this for my 40th - needed to stand out and I certainly did! Looked glamourous without the hand and had a comedy great element with it. Was comfy (and warm with the hand!) fitted well and looked fabulous. Dress was v see through (but just wear a slip underneath and you''re fine) and the stitching was weak - so just restitched it to make sure there were no wardrobe malfunctions on the night!”

“This and that: The hand of the gorilla is gorgeous. Not so the dress. It is bad quality and I had to buy another one wich fits and does not fall into pieces.”

“Showstopper! : Some reviews complain about sizing of the dress and quality. I am a 10-12 and the dress fit me well. The king kong hand is brilliant and got loads of great reactions at my party! This costume is actually very flattering and really comfy! Would definitely recommend.”

“nice hand, shame about the dress : overall the costume is fantastic, it was very popular and got lots of remarks and compliments. the hand is brilliant, can''t fault it, even down to fingernails!! but the dress is poor quality, feels ''cardboardy'' and not a good fit. luckily, the hand covers most of it, so nobody really notices the dress.”
