“Pretty dress, headdress needs rethinking: Not purple, dress is blue but pretty colour. Dress is very pretty. Headdress is horrible, spoils the look of the dress. Dress is very small, I am size 12-14 and size large only just fits, no way would it fit up to a size 18 like it is supposed to.”

“Medieval Glamour: I ordered this costume to wear for a Medieval Banquet, where dressing up was optional, but I wanted to get into the spirit of things. I searched fancy dress hire shops in the first instance but found most of the garments slightly worn looking and very heavy. Then I trawled the internet for that perfect costume. I was looking for something glamourous and colourful, and eventually I came upon this dress which appeared to fit both criteria. I was concerned not to buy any dress that popped up on lots of web sites as I realised that the banquet would probably be full of ladies all wearing the same gown, but this dress seemed to be almost exclusive to this site, so I decided to go for it. I was concerned as to whether or not it would fit, but ordered the small size, hoping that it wouldn''t be too skimpy and tight. I needn''t have worried though, as the material is quite stretchy, and the dress fits me to perfection. The long gold/black attachments to the sleeves add colour and authenticity, and made me feel both glamourous and slightly above the run of the mill. The neckline isn''t too low, so I didn''t run the risk of ''popping out'' when dancing, and the skirt was not so full that I felt encumbered by it. The belt adds the final touch of period detail, and the gold trim sparkled in the candle-light. I felt comfortable and not too warm all through a long and hot evening, while all around me ladies were heading off to change back into their ''civvies'' as the discomfort of their gowns became all too much for them. All in all, I would deffinately reccommend buying this gown.”

“Renaissance Queen style and comfort : I wanted an outfit for a family fancy dress Christmas that I could wear all day and be comfortable. I wanted to be able to serve lunch in the costume and then lounge in the afternoon in front of the tv. Lots of the guests arrived in great costumes that lasted about an hour for photos and then they wanted to change into something more comfortable. I wore my costume all day. It fitted really well and was very comfortable. Everyone commented on the quality and I had a few requests to borrow it.”
