A fantastic American style uniform based on the style wore in the II World War. This Khaki uniform features a army officer hat, tie, shirt and trousers (please note that the belt in not included).

It's unreasonable to expect to unpack and use the costume. A little bit of work will make it look superb. It's polyester so an iron on very low heat gets out the wrinkles. Add creases to make it look military. A paper plate inserted into the hat works perfectly. I needed a couple of cardboard 'stents' on either side, just left for a few days, remove and it's perfect. Keep the paper plate in though for a military hat that doesn't collapse or fold. Black belt with a buckle and black shoes and you're done! I bought a cheap pair of aviator glasses to add, but they're not essential. Delighted with the value-for-money! Retro shops would've cost me more than double.

Great costume, with a little effort!!: Basic uniform as it arrives is a little cheap looking. However, this is easily remedied. Firstly, take some time to iron the shirt, trousers and tie, it makes a huge difference! Secondly, turn the hat upside down and draw round it on card, cut out the card and pop it inside the hat, makes it look like a much more expensive costume! Thirdly, accessorize with cheap mirrored aviator sunglasses and any canvas belt. I had no end of compliments on the costume, so great value for money!

I would recommend this product : Good costume, good materials, and well finished. The only thing improved is the cap, detract from the overall quality. But it''s nothing that can not be solved with patience and cardboard.Very good value for money.

topdog : Top tip...if you use the packing cardboard as a hat stiffener,it makes all the differance.use the hat as a template, cut out slightly larger by quarter of an inch, insert with a crease from front to back and hey presto,a proper generals hat!!it tops the uniform a treat and looks much more expensive!!!
