A great costume!: The costume is unique and can''t be found anywhere else. There are no instructions on how it goes together, although it really is simple enough. The main thing is how the shoulder straps attach to the cape. If you look at the cape there''s a Velcro pad & one on the middle of the shoulder strap. Match them up and put the other ends of the strap through the two loops on each side of the Velcro pad of the cape. Put the cape on then pass the straps over the top of the shoulders, under your arm pits then across the middle of your back and connect the Velcro. It may need adjusting depending on how broad you are. It stayed in place, although I had a large safety pin as back up! The arm and leg guards were snug, the loin cloth was a good fit and stayed in place. Overall the costume is a decent quality and looks great, irrespective of your physique. You can add the body armour from the site, which matches well. I obtained a helmet and spear, which finished it nicely. I''m 6'', 42" chest and 32" waist, the large size fitted perfect. My friend bought the same and he''s 44" chest, 34" waist and 5''10". The only issue he had was the length of the cape being slightly too long. It actually looked good, but he preferred to shorten so it didn''t drag on the floor. People were impressed!

Good costume : Better quality item than I expected. The cloak is quite heavy with a permanently fixed metal (rather than plastic) "clasp". The shoulder harness is just one long strap that goes through loops built into the cloak and has a velcro patch in the middle to hold the cloak in place behind the neck. It''s hard to figure out how the two velcro ends of this long strip are meant to connect up, so in the end I just crossed them over behind me and tucked them into the ''skirt''. Instructions would have helped, but none come with the costume. The leg shields are padded and nicely edged; they seem reasonably robust. The forearm shields are more fragile and need care not to get splits in the edges. All have lycra panels in, to stretch for fitting different sized people. I got the Large size and it fits well - I''m 5''11" (180cm) tall and around 12st 8 (80kg). There''s quite a lot of room for adjustment.

Great Costume: I went to a 300 party and I was the best dressed Spartan there and was complimented on how good it looked, shame I did''nt have time to get my six packk in time.
