Perfect for a gentleman''s night! : I got this to wear to a fancy dress party, where the theme was Gentlemen - for the girls and boys! I combined it with a moustache, top hat and pipe. It looked fantastic and many people commented on what a great female gentleman I made! It was a great costume beacause it really looked the part and since the material is quite thin, I didn''t get too hot dancing in it all night! Bad bits - It said it came in one size fits all... I''m an average-sized woman (UK 8-10) and it was absolutely huge! So if you''re female or on the small side, you might need your own black trousers. I had to tuck them in my leggingns (worn underneath) and cover the excess material with the cumberband (luckily supplied!). It is great for guys though, fitted all my male friends well, even the 6ft3 muscley guy! The rest of it was a bit baggy on me but still looked excellent as a gentleman! The material is just nylon black cheap material, so not great for anything serious, but absolutely fine for fancy dress. The white shirt with bow tie (they''re attached to one another) - it''s just the shirt front that you tie up behind you, so you can''t really take off the tailcoat - you look a bit silly! But it was great and looked fine when put together. The cumberband had to be tied at the back and again is really long to cater to those with larger ''middles'' but it''s easy to wear. Loved it!! ...and even though it was a little pricey for just one night of fancy dress, was definitely worth it.

second attempt : Don''t be deceived by the picture. The collar is totally different and not a traditional upright one nor is there a black band to emulate the bow tie around the neck, it''s just a bow stuck on to a shirt front. Furthermore there are no white cuffs only a black jacket with no buttons on the jacket sleeves and the white front of the shirt is just that, a white front (with 3 buttons not 4)... so a t-shirt or vest is needed as the front isn''t very wide and is barely covered by the tailed jacket. I guess the only saving grace is its better than the emperor''s new suit.
